He is a 17'1 HH Hanoverian out of a Wenderkereis daughter, Wonderful Lady. Weltwynd possesses the outstanding pedigree to produce top quality DRESSAGE or JUMPING offspring.
Weltwynd started his Dressage career (2004) in B.C. at Training Level, achieving scores of 73% and 77% for his first outing, winning Training Level Champion at Southlands. Judges comments included, 'Very good prospect for higher levels". Weltwynd also received the Dressage Canada Bronze medal in the Training Division for his performance in 2006.
In 2008, Weltwynd continued his Dressage training in Ocala, Florida, achieving a score of 68 on Test 4, First Level. Weltwynd continued his career enjoying the Dressage circuit in the USA attaining scores of 63% and 66% First Level.
Weltwynd also enjoyed jumping at OSJS Sporthorses until he was sold. A big powerful stallion that competed in the 1.15m classes to start his jumping career. He then moved on to a different barn where he was castrated and ended up being a great amateur horse.
Weltwynd is a character with a mountain of personality. He will add size, substance and elegant movement to any mare. While trainable and willing, Weltwynd has never exhibited any vices and is a total gentleman at all times. Now gelded, an opportunity to breed to this outstanding horse is available at an introductory fee for the 2022 breeding season.
